Heads up, aspiring K-pop idols! SM Entertainment is now open for the submission of online applications of those who dream of becoming the next K-pop icons!
SM Entertainment, the home of the most popular K-pop artists Super Junior, EXO, Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, TVXQ, and many more, has opened their online submission of young dreamers around the globe. According to the official SM Audition Facebook page, there are several qualification sets to make sure one meets the criteria before sending his or her application.

E-mail Audition
An applicant must follow a specific message format on sending the e-mail. One should attach a video file (dancing), music file (singing), and face-shots (frontal/side). Make sure photos are free of digital editing. In the site, there are specific e-mail addressed to choose from, based on one's location around the world.
Qualification
Anyone who was born between the years 2000 to 2010 is qualified to join. It is open to all nationalities, race, and gender.
SM Entertainment is the breeding ground of the best K-pop talents to date. They have come up with varied group concepts to cope with the demands of the different genres of audiences. EXO, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, NCT, TVXQ, and many more are few of the most popular iconic bands who are dominating the K-pop scene.
SM Global Audition began in 2006 and reached various regions globally, such as America and Asia. Some of the products of this worldwide search are the prominent K-pop idols like EXO's Chinese member Lay, Red Velvet's Wendy who grew up in Canada, NCT 127's Japanese member Yuta, and Mark who was raised in Vancouver, WayV members and Thai idol Ten, and many more.
Those who will successfully pass the application will be given a great opportunity to sign an exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. Thus, numerous other perks shall be discussed within the management and the contractor.
