On May 14th, MONSTA X celebrated its 5th anniversary in the music industry. The group hosted a Special Naver V Live event for the Monbebes (Monsta X's fans).
At 7:00 PM on May 14th, MONSTA X happily celebrated its 5th year in the K-pop industry with their fans. If you missed it, fret not. The group has arranged a series of events through their official V Live channel. They set it up to communicate openly with the Monbebes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past years since their debut, MONSTA X has become popular both locally and internationally. With the group's intense and powerful image, they first conquered the music scene with "Trespass." Followed by a series of well-curated songs fit for MONSTA X' charisma like "All In," "Beautiful," "DRAMADRAMA," "Shoot Out," and "Alligator."
The captivating melody that's paired with MONSTA X's aura made it possible for the group to be renowned globally. With that, MONSTA X has also grown its activities abroad. They had three consecutive world tours from 2017 to 2019, starting with "Beautiful" to "Connect," and ending with the most recent "We Are Here."
These world tours allowed the group to connect with their international fans from different countries across Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
During the group's "We Are Here" concert, they performed 23 shows in 20 cities around the world, including one of the best-performing venues worldwide, the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Moreover, since 2017, MONSTA X has consistently won the No. 1 music chart in Japan and has been certified as a "Gold Disk" performing group. Aside from that, they have also penetrated the US market after their single "Who Do U Love?" which features French Montana entered the Billboard.
Since then, MONSTA X has released a series of songs that have ranked well in the US, such as "Love U," "Someone's Someone," and "Magnetic."
In 2019, the group was invited to several of America's biggest year-end music shows like the Jingle Ball Tour, the 2019 Teens' Choice Awards, Life's Beautiful Festival, Chanel Show, and more. They were also featured in "Ellen" on that same year.
As 2020 rolled in, MONSTA X made a comeback with the pop album "All About Luv" in February. After its release, it immediately ranked in several music charts, including the Billboard Top 200 and was featured in Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, People, and more.
As MONSTA X has built a steady fandom worldwide in the past six years, it is no surprise that their upcoming album "FANTASIA X" will be a global hit.
