BIGBANG's Taeyang spoke about going through a recession, while his bandmate G-Dragon explained how the musician has managed to change.
The fourth episode of Taeyang 's documentary "White Night" was launched on May 28, and highlights him on his World Tour solo "White Night."
Taeyang started talking of a moment when he was having problems and he was considering leaving his job.
He went on to say, "truth be told, I hadn't wanted to do anything at that moment. I also don't want to be a singer; I didn't want to continue on doing music like this."
Following the opening title of the episode, Taeyang proceeded, "After BIGBANG my single projects will indeed arise. And BIGBANG would make a return once I'd finished with my solo. I was consistently being driven in one direction, so psychologically I seemed to be doing badly."
He went on to suggest, "however at the same time I can't honestly say I 'm sorry nor have regrets about that moment, because it was such a moment for someone like me to think and work as well as how to treat other people, And to me to realize what matters most in life. I was thinking a lot and learned a great deal and I found the answers. I don't think I'd be who I'm today if it weren't for that time."
The episode then included fellow musicians who spoke about Taeyang.
G-Dragon seems like one of those musicians who once said, "Taeyang will always say he chooses to pursue the kind of music he intends to do. The kind of music he 'd really wished to create. If he wished to demonstrate how hard he is working in the past, I think he 's confident now and he's trying to incorporate all his compositions and stage his performances in his own style, a little bit like a real artist."
The documentary also highlighted Taeyang's videos interacting with his supporters and expressing gratitude for their support. This included a halt in Los Angeles after seeing a cover available on the internet when he greeted YouTuber Ysabelle Cuevas on stage with him and pooled offstage clips of them in the "White Night" docuseries.
On May 18, Taeyang's first version of the docuseries "White Night" was released via the public YouTube channels of BIGBANG and Taeyang.
The episode includes Taeyang 's videos from well before his third studio album "WHITE NIGHT" released in 2017. Fellow band members of BIGBANG and staff spoke about Taeyang and said, "He's very open about his own ideas and perspectives but he's always extremely compassionate about others," "He's still confident," and "He's so common."
On what core values he pursues as an individual and as an artist, Taeyang stated, "I still have to step forward. I need people to really see me quite like myself. Surely that's the purpose I make music, and also why I create things."
The songwriter has been further mentioned by people who were close to Taeyang. His old acquaintance and buddy added, "He's an open guy and he's still hard work. It's very cool to see how he hasn't ever changed."
