Becoming an idol isn't a simple matter, and it happens to come with a whole bunch of issues, like insane stalkers and outrageous fans. Though this notion and presence of sasaengs is not a new phenomenon, the latest attention has been drawn to the circumstance with them by NCT.

On 6 June, member Haechan tackled the case and the sasaengs formally during a V Live broadcast, "We 're going to be grateful for whichever way you send us love and support. Yet our dorm building has people in front of it. Not only for the nine of us, but the NCT Dream's building as well.

We 're so worried about this and it causes us a difficult time, to be completely honest.

Remember that even though I'm discussing this, you'll always be coming. We've asked you specifically for so many times. For us, it's uncomfortable. We would like to be allowed to do our thing to relax and sleep amongst ourselves in a space meant for us to rest our minds and body.

Yet you make us uncomfortable and also have a tough time. We know you 're doing this because you love and support us, but no, I cannot understand this anymore even if you like us."

Haechan further clarified that the situation has gotten worse and worse as the building's tenants sometimes complain to the boys about loitering sasaengs.

He also stated that if a fan bumps into them by accident on the streets, they would be happy to sign autographs, but this would not be the same with sasaengs who constantly chase them everywhere.

Two days later, Member Taeyong too had a live broadcast on V LIVE and he decided to bring up a similar issue. Taeyong stated that loitering around the residence halls could be risky for the sasaengs too though and said the members are uneasy, again asking the sasaengs not to come near.

Both members have been very grateful for the help and kindness of other supporters who have said they don't want to misunderstand actual fans as sasaengs and this is why they would like sasaengs to exercise self control.

Many fans have shown respect for the boys freely discussing the issue and applauding them for being rational and respectfully pointing out awkward circumstances.

"Thank you Taeyong for speaking about the sasaeng situation so candidly. You guys must have suffered a lot to the point of talking about it on the broadcast. Thank you for not hiding and backing down and speaking about it in a sensitive and polite manner. Please fans, be like your idol!"

This was not the first time the boys went on fighting sasaeng, a surprising fan clip that made it viral on social networking sites in making a mad dash to participants in the airport.

Fans are quick to react to the members' sentiment being conveyed throughout their broadcasts and commented:

"I can never comprehend sasaengs. 'I love you so I'm going to make your life a living hell?' What kind of evil is that distorted mindset?"

"They can't prosecute because the saesangs are out and about but if it was a normal person that would be strange although they are artists so it isn't really considered strange in the rule book so they can't charge unless they are doing something unlawful."

"Haechan hasn't talked about this if it's all right with them, but it's not. The members feel awkward in this regard. Sasaengs are not alone in having a life. I am sorry to see them born this way. They have to make their parents embarrassed of them."

"He spoke so magnificently. I have great respect for him, for trying to speak about it in a manner that is polite and courteous, understanding and not ignoring him. I just hope those fans were caring and compassionate, much like their idol."
