K-pop industry is indeed full of world-class idols not only in terms of skills and talents but as well as when it comes to visuals! 

Recently, a poll gathering fans' and netizens' responses was conducted by Starmometer to be able to determine if who's personality or star got the best face in the world.

Then, among 100 celebrity contestants who were nominated by fans and netizen from different parts of the world, only six finalists were given a chance to be crowned as the "Best Face in The World 2020." 

Amazingly, K-pop idols just then proved that Hallyu wave is undoubtedly soaring up among international countries and fans, as BTS and BLACKPINK members dominated the finalists! 

In the top 6, BTS Jungkook, Jin and Taehyung or prominently known as V are the male artists who were able to enter the list. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK members, including Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo are the female idols who were chosen to compete for the final round. 

In context, Starmometer is a popular overseas entertainment media outlet, who has been long undergoing surveys and polls to hails a celebrity for a specific title. 

In particular, Best Face in The World is an annual ranking conducted by the outlet, wherein the winner is chosen through fans' engagement to the polls. From the 100 personalities nominated, the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female who got the most fans' engagements (e.g. likes and comments) will compete in three platforms to determine the final winner; via Twitter, Instagram and internet poll. 

And on June, the site finally announced who got the crown and it is no other than V of BTS! This is then the second time around that the idol was hailed as the "Best Face in The World," after winning the title in 2019 as well. He then defended his crown with a total of 1,705,681 votes.

Meanwhile, BTS Kim Seokjin or also known as Jin was ranked as the second placer, with total votes of 1,349,831, followed by BTS Jungkook in third place with 1,329, 404 votes from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and internet poll. 

Lalisa Manoban then attracted 1,006,496 votes, putting her in the fourth rank. In addition to this, Jennie sat on the fifth place, followed by Jisoo as sixth place, who got 557,772 and 513,436 votes, respectively. 

On the other hand, BTS V, who defended his title as "The Best Face in the World," this year, is also excelling in terms of music. According to his recent broadcast, the group is currently preparing for their upcoming album and spoil his fans as well, revealing that the songs he wrote could possibly be included in the album. Furthermore, he also conveyed his desire to release his solo mixtape this year as well.
