According to an announcement posted on the K-pop group's official Japanese fan club on June 11, Wednesday, BTS are set to release their song "Stay Gold," a track from their fourth Japanese album, on June 19 at 6:00 p.m. KST.
"Stay Gold" was part of the OST lineup for the Japanese drama "The Spiral Labyrinth: Scientific DNA Investigation," also known as "Rasen no Meikyū." The drama was set to air in April of this year, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There have been no updates on any re-scheduled airing dates and has been put off indefinitely.
BTS are set to release their fourth Japanese album, "Map of the Soul: 7 - The Journey" on July 15th. The album will include "Stay Gold" (the title track) and twelve other songs, such as Japanese songs such as "Your eyes tell," as well as the Japanese versions of their hits "ON," "Black Swan," "Boy With Luv," "Fake Love," "IDOL," and "Dionysus."
"Your eyes tell" is a song composed by Jungkook, the group's youngest member.
This will also be the first Japanese BTS album since "FACE YOURSELF," which was released back in 2018.
