Jennie shared the real reason for her leg injury in the prologue of BLACKPINK's vlog, "24/365 with BLACKPINK."
BLINKs expressed their concerns after seeing Jennie with crutches on the launching date of her eyewear collection Jentle Home. Various speculations were made regarding the possible causes of her injury. And finally, in one of the episodes of the quartet's vlog, the K-pop idol revealed the reason she got injured.
Jennie revealed that the accident happened a month earlier, explaining that she dedicated herself to becoming fit as she followed the social distancing protocols, and she had nothing else to do.
"We didn't have a lot of things to do due to social distancing rules. Since it is summer, I decided to elevate my bum for a better fit," Jennie explained.
However, the first day was something unfortunate for Jennie. She mentioned that there was no one else to blame because it was solely her fault.
"It occurred on the very first day. I won't blame anybody because I tripped over my own feet," Jennie explained.
Although she was seen with crutches, she assured everyone that it was not that serious.
"It was not a sprain. However, there was a ligament injury that required me to wear a cast. It has been a month, and I am into the healing stage now," she added.
Then, the BLACKPINK member also gave a piece of advice for the fans about her experience.
"Please be careful. Whatever you do, if it is too much, then it is not good," she explained.
Meanwhile, BLINKs have been on a high as BLACKPINK's long-awaited comeback is fast approaching. On June 16, YG Entertainment unveiled a new set of individual teasers of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa for their pre-release single, titled "How You Like That," to come out on June 26.
The ladies also generously gave out clues about their forthcoming release.
