On June 15, another protest truck appears in front of the YG Entertainment building, but this time, it's not from BLACKPINK's fandom but other group's fan base!

There is More Protest Truck, Than Artist's Activities

In particular, the truck came from WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon's fans, who expressed their frustrations to the company through the banner, demanding YG Entertainment to keep their promise to the male idol last 2013. According to the fans, "The promise of Kang Seung Yoon's solo album in 2013 has not been kept."

It is noted that in the said year, YG Entertainment announced through their official blog that Seung Yoon is already working on a mini-album with six songs, and it was also reported that the recording is in its finishing stage. However, seven years had passed, but there's no album released yet.

Thus, Innercircles, the fandom of WINNER, is asking the agency to finally fulfill it, due to the reasons that they are also worried to the future works of the members, now that two of them; Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon is currently serving in the military to fulfill their duties as Korean citizens.

This is not the first time however that the agency received protest trucks. In December 2019 and May 2020, BLINKs, the fandom of BLACKPINK, are also in rage and sent a couple of trucks traveling around Seoul to demand the female group's comeback. Furthermore, supporters of the group call out YGE as well to give Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo their promised solo album as well.

Fans are exasperated by how YGE keeps on giving loose promises, which is not only giving high hopes to the fans but also for their artists who were working hard for it.

Hiatus without solid schedules of activities

Prior to WINNER's enlistment, the group released their 3rd album, "Remember," wherein it was also announced that WINNER would be having a temporary hiatus. YG Entertainment affirmed that there would be several activities set for the remaining members Mino and Seung Yoon, but almost two months had passed, but the drought for WINNER's content is real for the fandom.

This is causing the anxiety for the fandom that the one-and-a-half-year hiatus they had experience in 2015 will repeat, which causes them to panic with the signs of disbandment. But Innercircles won't sit still and decided to demand YG for better treatment.

This is also true to the other K-pop groups under YG Entertainment, as BIGBANG's supposed to be the major comeback that will happen in Coachella 2020 was unfortunately canceled due to the pandemic. This is the only hope of VIPs, BIGBANG's fandom, to see the iconic band perform again, but YGE is not giving any affirmation as to what is next regarding BIGBANG.

Moreover, BLACKPINK's Rosé and Jisoo were affected the most by their one-year hiatus, as there are several offers to the members that YG didn't accept, leading them to have the least content from April 2019 to May 2020 compared to Jennie and Lisa.
