Fans have become increasingly concerned for the safety of NCT Dream's Chenle after a series of posts by a sasaeng fan made its rounds on Twitter.
The account is newly made, and appears to have been made only with the purpose of being a sasaeng page. It first claimed they had Chenle's number and posted a screenshot of him in their contact list.
They also shared photos of them spamming Chenle with messages, all of which are left unanswered. It is unknown if the number they have is really Chenle's, but either way, it is an invasion of privacy. Fans also deemed it as harassment, seeing as they are constantly spamming them with messages, and the messages themselves span numerous days.

But the fans' photos only got worse, and these next series of photos is what caused Chenle's fans to be alarmed.
In what appears to be blood, the user tried to write Chenle's name, accompanied with the term "xoxo," which means "hugs and kisses." They claim that they do so to show their love for the K-pop idol.
She posted another similar photo, this time trying to write "I love Chenle" with blood. Attached to the post includes the paper with blood as well as her fingers covered in blood.
Numerous fans confronted the sasaeng about this freakish act and became highly defensive at the mention of SM Entertainment possibly taking legal action against them and the harassment and disturbing posts towards Chenle. They also stated that they will commit suicide if they ever get sued, saying, "I can't afford that," adding that that has been their plan from day one - to take their own life if they face legal action.
The sasaeng then posted an edited photo of Chenle, wherein he is seen holding one of the bloody notes they have created for him.
Fans have since trended the hashtag #PROTECTCHENLE on Twitter, demanding SM Entertainment to take the appropriate measures to ensure Chenle and the other NCT members' safety. NCTzens also have been informing others on what's happening and tagging the agency in their tweets, hoping that they will do something.
If you wish to send an email to SM Entertainment about this matter or concerning any of their artists, you may email them at protect@smtown.com. SM Entertainment has yet to address the issue in regard to Chenle's protection.
