SM Entertainment is one of the "Big 3s" in the Korean music industry alongside YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment. They handle famous K-pop groups like Girls' Generation, EXO, NCT, Super Junior, Red Velvet, etc.

To manage these artists is a big responsibility, and it comes with tons of disagreements from fans as well, especially when the avid fans are waiting for new album and music video releases.There had been several times wherein fans called the attention of SME for the constant delay of their artists' MV releases.

Here are the 20 times SM Entertainment delayed their own artists' MV releases breaking fans' hearts:

"Monster"

EXO's "Monster" was released one hour after its scheduled time.

"Lotto"

Another music video from EXO, "Lotto," was released late. It was initially scheduled at 10:00 PM KST of August 17, 2016, but was released at 10:00 AM the following day.

"Ring Ding Dong"

SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong" music video was scheduled to be released on October 16, 2009, at 10:00 PM KST. However, it was released one hour late at 11:51 PM of the same day,

"SPY"

The "SPY" music video by Super Junior didn't have an official release date, but fans assumed it'll be launched together with album on August 5, 2012. It was another heartbreak as the video was released seven days later.

"Danger"

Fans waited 40 minutes more to see SHINee Taemin's "Danger" music video.

"I"

Girls Generation Taeyeon's "I" music video release was delayed for half a day.

"Mr.Mr."

"Mr.Mr." music video release got delayed because Girls' Generation had to reshoot it. During the final editing of the MV, parts of it were accidentally trashed. After nine days since it's the original release date, it was finally released.

"Fire Truck"

The "Fire Truck" music video by NCT127 was also delayed by 12 hours for unknown reasons.

"Tell Me What To Do"

SHINee's "Tell Me What To Do" music video release was delayed for nine hours.

"Wannabe"

Girls' Generation Hyoyeon's "Wannabe" music video release was delayed for an hour.

"I Got Love"

The "I Got Love" music video of Girls' Generation Taeyeon was also released one hour late.

"Red Flavor"

Red Velvet's "Red Flavor" music video was also released an hour late.

"Cherry Bomb"

NCT 127's "Cherry Bomb" music video was released almost two hours late than its original schedule.

"Regular"

NCT 127's "Regular" music video missed sticking with its regular release date. Fans waited an additional 40 minutes to see it.

"Shinin'"

This delay made fans angry. SHINee Jonghyun's "Shinin" music video was well-anticipated by fans, so even when it was only an hour late, fans called out SM Entertainment for not releasing it on time.

"Feedback"

The "Feedback" music video of BoA was delayed by two hours and 30 minutes after its original release time.

"Follow"

The music video release of TVXQ Yunho's "Follow" was also delayed by two hours.

"Spark"

Girls' Generation Taeyeon's "Spark" music video also released two hours later than its original schedule.

"Superhuman"

The release of the "Superhuman" music video by NCT 127 was delayed for 18 hours. Fans were upset and demanded an explanation to which SME only replied with, "We had to address the video's quality issues."

 "I Think I"

Although the "I Think I" music video by Super Junior was released on the same day as its schedule, it was five hours late.
