Seems like no one can resist BLACKPINK - not even veteran idol Kyuhyun of Super Junior!
During his appearance on MBC's "Section TV", Kyuhyun was asked by MC Kyungri on what his ideal type was. He revealed that he prefers the pure type of women, citing that Kyungri was more of the sexy type, causing her to joke that he was "drawing a line" between them.
It was also revealed that he likes women who look beautiful while in a ponytail. He explained that when he sees women wearing their hair up in a ponytail, they look more attractive in his eyes. Kyungri jokes again that she should have tied her hair that day, using her hands to bring her hair up. She asks if that type of look is what he means, to which he says yes. He went on to say that if he already liked her and he saw her with her hair tied up in a ponytail, he'd start liking her twice as much.
Kyungri then asked if there was a celebrity who matches his ideal type. Without missing a beat, Kyuhyun replied that his ideal type is Jisoo from BLACKPINK! Kyungri commented that she suits the pure type that Kyuhyun loves and even commented that Kyuhyun and Jisoo's eyes resemble one another!
Coincidentally, Kyuhyun and Jisoo had actually met in the past! Back in 2017, BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Rosé appeared on "Radio Star", a show where Kyuhyun was a fixed cast member and MC at the time. Throughout the show, Kyuhyun can be seen smiling at Jisoo, unable to hide his happiness when the idol acted cutely. Could this be how his attraction for her started?
