Mina revealed on her Instagram account early last month that she had been bullied several times over the past ten years by Jimin, the group's leader during her AOA career. With Kwon's revelation, Jimin withdrew from AOA and retired from the entertainment industry.
A month later, several wrist photos of her attempt to make an extreme choice surfaced, which prompted her agency to rush her to the nearest hospital. Woori Actors reassured that she was safe then. In the end, FNC Entertainment made an official apology to Kwon Mina.
