The Korean Business Research Institute announced their brand reputation rankings for K-Pop groups for the month of September. To select which groups made it to the rankings, they analyzed trends like consumer participation, community awareness, and news coverage.
10. IZ*ONE
IZ*ONE is a South Korea-Japanese girl group formed through the Mnet survival show "Produce 48". The group is composed of twelve members, Kwon Eunbi, Sakura Miyawaki, Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, Lee Chaeyeon, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju, Nako Yabuki, Hitomi Honda, Jo Yuri, Ahn Yujin, and Jang Wonyoung. The group debuted in 2018.
9. Red Velvet
Red Velvet is a five-member girl group under SM Entertainment that debuted in 2014. They originally debuted as four members, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. In 2015, Yeri was added to the group. The group is one of the most powerful celebrities in South Korea and are praised for the contributions to the Hallyu Wave.

8. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN is a thirteen-member group under PLEDIS Entertainment that debuted in 2015. The group is composed of S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. The group is composed of three sub-units, the Hip-Hop Unit, the Vocal Unit, and the Performance Unit.
7. MAMAMOO
MAMAMOO is a four-member girl group under RBW that debuted in 2014. The group consists of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. They were praised for having one of the best debuted in 2014 and is recognized for their retro, jazz, R&B concepts as well as for the members' strong vocals.
6. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE is a six-member multinational girl group under CUBE Entertainment that debuted in 2018. The group is composed of Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. The group is known for their participation in their musical process, with leader producing, composing, and arranging and Minnie and Yuqi writing and co-producing their material.
5. Lovelyz
Lovelyz is a eight-member South Korean girl group that debuted under Woollim Entertainment in 2014. They are the company's first-ever girl group. The group consists of Baby Soul, Jiae, Jisoo, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong, and Yein.
4. EXO
EXO is a South Korean-Chinese group that is currently nine members. They debuted in 2012 under SM Entertainment. The group's current line-up consists of Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun. They originally debuted as twelve members, but former members Kris, Luhan, and Tao left the group and the company amid legal battles in 2014 and 2015.
3. Oh My Girl
Oh My Girl is a South Korean girl group that debuted under WM Entertainment that debuted in 2015. The group is composed of seven members, Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Jiho, Binnie, and Arin. They originally debuted as eight members, but former member JinE left the group in 2017 due to the health issues.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. The group consists of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. BLACKPINK is the highest-charting Korean girl group to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with "Ice Cream", and on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 24 with "Kill This Love".

BTS is a South Korean boy group under Big Hit Entertainment. The group debuted in 2013. BTS consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They are known for being highly active in their musical process, with all of the members helping co-write and co-produce most of their material. They are the best-selling artist in South Korean history and their album, "Map of the Soul:7" is the best-selling album in South Korea.
