Chuseok is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in South Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar on the full moon. It is an auspicious holiday for Koreans and hence, an important day.
Members of EXO sent in their best wishes for Chuseok to fans, much to their joy, especially when members that are currently in the military wished fans as well. We've included some of the messages below so you can check them out now!
D.O enlisted in the military back in July 2019 and his discharge date is coming closer and closer, much to the joy to fans worldwide. He will be discharged on the 15th of January next year! On the occasion of Chuseok, however, D.O did not miss out on sending a special touching message of best wishes to his fans, even if it was from the military.
D.O left his message to fans through the 'Bubble' messaging feature on 'Lysn' like the other members. The message reads as follows:
Hello, this is EXO's D.O. Is everyone well and healthy? I wish you spend a joyful and happy Chuseok holiday. Always remember to wear a mask and please dress warmly since the weather is getting chilly. There isn't much time left for me to return.
Fans were extremely touched by the message as well as excited that D.O will be returning soon after merely 107 days. Even thought it sounds far away, we hope the days pass by smoothly!
Xiumin, who is also enlisted in the military left a heartwarming message for fans as well, that reads as follows:
Hello EXO-L, it's Xiumin.
The weather's been cooling recently & will become chilly~ I want the cold winter to come soon >.< haha
But I hope our EXO-Ls will take care of themselves & not catch a cold! Got it?
