PLEDIS Entertainment has confirmed boy group SEVENTEEN will be making their comeback on October 19 with the special album "< The Invitation For Youth '; [Semicolon]'>".
On October 5, 12 AM KST, SEVENTEEN's agency dropped a trailer video, causes fan's expectations to heighten for the comeback. The group's social media accounts also changed their headers and profile pictures to match the album name, "; Semicolon", stirring attention from fans worldwide.
The trailer video caught the eye of viewers with its colorful visuals from the very start, with the SEVENTEEN members seen wearing antique suits and a fedora. The video starts out with member Joshua, then shows the members one by one, piquing people's interest.
As the members are seen together, SEVENTEEN are seen toasting their glasses of beers, bowling, and throwing their fedora off altogether, giving off a retro vibe mixed with a mature, sophisticated image that differents from the youthful, refreshing concept SEVENTEEN usually goes for, making it impossible to peel your eyes away from the video.
The video also features words like "Work Hard", "Play Hard", and "Rest Hard", and all of these statements appeared to be acted out by the members.
Expectations are high for SEVENTEEN. Their last album "Heng:garae" showcased the boy's musical versatilities and was the album to mark the group as million sellers. The album also stayed on the Japanese weekly album chart for four weeks, marking them as a global boy group. With that, people are highly anticipating what kind of music the group will come out.
