Netizens Are Divided Over IZ*ONE's New Vogue Pictorial

On October 21, Vogue Korea shared a video from IZ*ONE's pictorial with the magazine. While other people praised the unique concept they went with, people have slammed the magazine for making the girls look worse than they are. Keep on reading to learn why!

The video was shared with Vogue Korea's official Instagram on October 21, Wednesday. The video features IZ*ONE members Kim Chaewon, Jo Yuri, Kim Minju, and Jang Wonyoung. The concept of the video is to show the girls in full bloom, breaking boundaries, formalities, and frameworks. The Korean caption of the post reads.

"Playful laughter, pouty lips, rough and dark eyebrows, the ability to attract people easily. Check out the November issue of "Vogue" to see the blooming days of the girls Chaewon, Yuri, Minju, and Wonyoung."

It appears little to no editing was done to their skin, showing how flawless their skin is. Each member has two different looks in the video.

To start, Chaewon is seen with minimal make-up, focusing more on making her skin look glossy and glassy. The idol is seen with messy, mismatched braids and is wearing a black mini dress and bots. In her next scene, she is seen with neater hair, with sparkles on her face as she rocks a gingham outfit.

However, an overwhelming amount of Korean netizens expressed their dissatisfaction over the concept that they went within the pictorial, pointing out how odd it is and how it overshadows the beauty of the four IZ*ONE membres.
