CL to Appear on 'The Late Late Show With James Corden' + Premieres Comeback Song

CL will be performing her new track on CBS's 'The Late Late Show with James Corden'!

On October 23, the female artist posted an alluring picture of herself on her personal Twitter account and announced that she will be singing her upcoming single entitled "+H₩A+ for the first time on the well-known American late-night television talk show.

CL also mentioned that date of her new song's premiere on CBS: October 29 at 12:37 a.m. PST/EST, and 4:30 p.m. KST, which is only a few hours after the release of her new track at 1 p.m. KST.

Last month and in the past days, the singer has been teasing fans about her forthcoming album. CL first hinted at her comeback on August 2 when she shared a picture on her Instagram stories and wrote, "My fans! It's frustrating to wait, wasn't it? I want to come to you with new music and performances rather than words, so I'm running forward with my eyes focused on the goal! I'm almost there! I miss you all so much, and thank you always!"

After hinting at her return, CL unveiled an 'intro' video through her official YouTube channel 'CL Official Channel' on September 1. The clip only lasted for eight seconds and shows the artist's never-ending charisma and energy. Also, a text is shown on the screen, 'I go by the name of, you already know,' referring to her popular line 'I go by the name of CL of 2NE1.'

The next day, CL shared another 'intro' video in which she can be seen saying words although the music background can only be heard. A text was also shown in the clip that says, 'Chaelin, that's me, we stay fly.' Then on September 3, a third 'intro' video was released and it displays the singer enjoying herself. The text '2NE1, my past, my forever blessing.'

Three days after, the fourth 'intro' clip was launched, and the text that was shown on the screen reads, 'Honey, world is mine, ain't no running from it.' It was unveiled that the music background of all of CL's 'intro' videos was made by the rising musician Holly along with Baauer, an American record producer and DJ who is famous for "Harlem Shake.

On September 7, the fifth 'intro' video was out. This time, the text that appeared is in Hangeul, which translates to 'Even if I fall nine times, I immediately get up 10.' The sixth and final 'intro' clip was unveiled the next day. In the video, the text is again in Hangeul, which says 'If life is a game, level up after a mission.'

On September 14, CL dropped her pre-release track '+POST UP+', which she wrote alongside Boniq. According to CL, this single was released before her album to thank her fans, GZBs, who have always believed in her and waited for a long time.

Then, on October 17, the idol revealed her first teaser for her upcoming comeback. After three days, a video teaser was uploaded on her YT channel. In the clip, she narrates, "What matters most is how well you walk through the fire," pointing out a line in a book by Charles Bukowski.
