Hint at Red Velvet's comeback?
Taeyeon dropped the music video for her song "What Do I Call You" at the same time as the mini-album's release. Upon the drop, eagle-eyed fans spotted numerous details that could possibly link to Red Velvet, one of the girl groups under SM Entertainment.
In one scene, Taeyeon is seen seated between two photos. On the left, a photo of a Ferris wheel is seen. On the right is a photo of daisies in a garden.
The Ferris wheel is typically associated with Red Velvet, as they previously released three albums that centers on a festival, which have Ferris wheels. The three albums are titled "The ReVe Festival: Day 1," "The ReVe Festival: Day 2," and "The ReVe Festival: Finale." The Ferris wheel is also considered a huge reference to "Zimzalabim," a song released by Red Velvet in 2019.
The daisies are thought to link to Yeri's past Instagram post. Both photos are similar, which is making people wonder if the two videos are connected.
In Red Velvet's music video for "Psycho," which was released in December of 2019, a ribbon-shaped piece of paper is seen tied to a rock. At first, this appeared to be a detail that was unimportant. However, at the end of Taeyeon's music video for "What Do I Call You," the same paper is seen.
Currently, it is unclear what this paper means, but it is highly speculated to be related to a future Red Velvet release.
