In addition, according to a Marvel press release, Luna Snow in the said mobile game is a powerful Energy hero that can destroy things with her dark ice and provide healing with her light ice. In her background, Seol Hee is the real name of Luna Snow - who is a Korean idol singer who was holding a show at Stark Arena when the venue was ambushed by an organization called A.I.M. Because of this, Seol Hee courageously protected the people around her, however, she was locked up in cold fusion reactor, which gave her the power to create ice.
Thanks to her superpower, Seol Hee was able to defeat A.I.M, and the media started to call her by the name "Luna Snow." And from that day forward, she has been living as a K-pop star and a superhero at the same time.
Through a video, f(x)'s Luna gives a short message to Marvel players, introducing Marvel's first K-pop superhero Luna Snow and mentioning the song titled "Flow."
While Luna Snow seems to be a new superhero to most people, the character technically is not. Marvel created her back in 2018 as part of a particular game they made in collaboration with Netmarble, the agency founded by the brother of Big Hit Entertainment's CEO Bang Si Hyuk. The game is called "Future Fight," in which Luna Snow began as an aspiring singer who desires to be rich and popular so she can provide for the needs of her grandmother who took care of her since she was young. A villainous organization then used her for an energy experiment, which granted her the power to manipulate ice, allowing her to fight crime while she lives as a K-pop star.
According to Marvel, Luna Snow was formed after the audience requested more culturally diverse and genuine superheroes. Following her introduction in Future Fight, she also appeared in a Marvel comic book series called "War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas." And now, she has been added to Marvel Super War, specifically on Dec. 24.
