Attention, ARMYs - Daegu City, hometown of BTS members V and Suga, will be creating a tour package in which fans or tourists can visit the places related to the two idols.
The city announced that they will create a new travel package that follows the schools of BTS V and Suga, as well as the spots where they used to hang out. Daegu also shared its plan to release vlogs, a V edition and Suga edition, this upcoming March to the public. These vlogs will be recorded by both Korean and international ARMY (BTS's fan club) as they explore the two idols' hometown.
One of the places that will be included in the package is Dalseong Park, which is a special place for BTS V as it is where he played a lot when he was at a very young age. A photo of V at the said park when he was young garnered attention after the singer captured the same pose at the park in 2015, and shared the two images on Twitter side by side.
The Namsan-dong area is also said to be part of Daegu City's upcoming tour package. This area is revealed to have plenty of music studios and musical instruments stores. In addition, this is where BTS Suga grew up and worked part-time as a writer and composer at a particular music studio before he debuted. The word "Namsan-dong" is, in fact, mentioned in Suga's rap part in BTS's "INTRO: Never Mind." In particular, his lyrics went, "Starting from an underground studio in Namsan-dong to Seoul."
Daegu City will be release these vlogs on their YouTube channel and will request the videos to be shared with the overseas branch of the Korea Tourism Organization. Aside from this, the city also announced that they will create a tour titled "Hallyu Sky Train Tour" that links the bus tour package "Hallyu 724 Bus Tour" and Subway line 3.
The bus tour gives fans and tourists the chance to trace the steps of BTS members V and Suga. It features a route that starts from Gwaneum Middle School and Gangbuk High School (where Suga attended), and then to Seomun Market, Jeil High School (where V attended), Dalseong Park, and ends at Dongseong-no.
For those who don't know, one of Suga's mixtape songs titled "724128" was named after the bus. The "128" part pertains to the bus number that he rode in Seoul.

These tours are aimed to be confirmed by the first half of this year to attract foreign tourists after the COVID-19 pandemic slows down. An official from Daegu city stated, "The contents of this tour do not require a confirmation from the agency (Big Hit Entertainment) as they only introduce related places and not the celebrities directly."
Daegu City is considered the fourth-biggest city in South Korea. It is where tradition and modern aspects exist at the same time. It is also a city recognized for its sumptuous food and its arts and music.
