Famous Choreographer Bae Yoon Jung Selects The Top 4 Female Idols Born to be Dancers

Popular dance teacher and choreographer Bae Yoon Jung, who is known for her strict teaching and strong character during her time as a dance mentor for the "Produce" series, named four idols who were born to be dancers. Keep on reading to see who she chose!

Bae Yoon Jung recently appeared on the KBS2 variety show "Problem Child in House", appearing on the Tuesday, Jan. 19, airing of the show. During the show, she was asked to pick who is the best dancer in South Korea. To that, Bae Yoon Jung revealed she actually gets asked this a lot, but nowadays, almost everyone can dance. She mentioned Lee Hyori, who does not have the best dance technique but is able to change the atmosphere with her dance moves, proving that she is a cool dancer. Bae Yoon Jung praised Lee Hyori for her easy-going and attractive personality when she dances.

The MCs then asked Bae Yoon Jung to name three celebrities who were born to be dancers. She answered them honestly, saying, "There are four of them. IZ*ONE's Chaeyeon, Chung Ha, BLACKPINK's Lisa, and Red Velvet's Seulgi". She went on to say that there are many talented idols who are amazing dancers and that it is even harder to name an idol who cannot dance.

Chaeyeon is praised as IZ*ONE's main dancer. The IZ*ONE member has been dancing ever since she was a child and even appeared to compete on the show "K-Pop Star 3" with her sister Chaeryeong (from ITZY) when she was just 13-years-old. Though the duo was eliminated, they both signed with JYP Entertainment.

She trained under JYP Entertainment for a year before competing on "SIXTEEN". Despite her talent, she was eliminated in the third episode and did not debut with TWICE. After more than four years of training, Chaeyeon appeared on "Produce 48", where she stunned people with her refined dance technique. She debuted with IZ*ONE through the program.

Chung Ha has been dancing for six to seven years before her debut, even graduating from Sejong University with a major in dance. Chung Ha first made her name known after competing on "Produce 101", where her audition dance to Beyonce's "Partition" went viral. She ultimately made her debut as an I.O.I member through the show. Following the group's disbandment, she pursued a successful solo career. She is often complimented as one of the best dancers in the industry.

Lisa started dancing when she was only four years old. She was even part of a dance crew called We Zaa Cool and was co-members with GOT7's Bambam. As a child, she competed in numerous dance competitions and won quite a lot of them. She started training under YG Entertainment in 2011 and, according to the BLACKPINK members, was already a spectacular dancer as a trainee. Lisa debuted in 2016 as BLACKPINK's main dancer and has performed numerous dance solos during their tour. She has also shared videos of her dancing to her YouTube channel, Lilifim Official.

Seulgi started training under SM Entertainment and was first introduced to the public as a member of SM Rookies. Even during her pre-debut days, people started to speculate that she would debut as the main dancer of her group. And she did just that, debuting with Red Velvet in 2014 as their main dancer and lead vocalist. She is often praised as being an incredibly skilled dancer and is known as one of the top idol-dancers from SM Entertainment.
