On March 3, Billboard has updated its website to reveal this week's rankings for all its charts, including the World Albums Chart. Once again, K-pop groups have dominated the top 10 places, and three of them are a few of the biggest acts, such as BTS, BLACKPINK, and SHINee.
BTS Secures Four Positions
World-renowned boy band BTS has successfully claimed four spots within the top 10 of this week's Billboard World Albums Chart. Sitting at No. 1 is the group's latest album, "BE," which was released on Nov. 20 last year. This marks the album's 13th week at the top spot of the said Billboard chart. On Feb. 19, BTS dropped the "Essential Edition" of their "BE" album.

Coming after "BE" is another work from BTS, the septet's February 2020 album "Map of the Soul: 7." This release reflects the journey and growth of the group's seven members since their debut. It impressively sold more than 4.4 million copies in less than a month, making it the best-selling album in South Korea of all time. And recently, BTS's "Map of the Soul: 7" has spent its full-year on the Billboard 200.
Moreover, on this week's Billboard World Albums Chart, BTS's 2018 albums "Love Yourself: Answer" and "Love Yourself: Tear" took the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, respectively. Although it has already been more than two years since these works launched, they continue to receive support from fans, making this feat more notable.
BLACKPINK Takes the No. 3 Spot
BLACKPINK remains within the top 5 on the latest World Albums Chart with their very first full-length album, "THE ALBUM." And still, they are the only K-pop girl group to chart within the top 5 and within the top 10 of the said Billboard chart.
BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" was included in Billboard's Top 50 Best Albums of 2020 list, claiming the No. 11 spot. Additionally, it is the best-selling album by a girl group in the Gaon Monthly Album chart's history after selling 1,092,550 copies.

What's more noteworthy is that the band managed to rank with their new Japanese album "Still Dreaming," becoming the only Japanese album within the top 10. Additionally, TXT is now the second artist after BTS to have a Japanese album enter the Billboard 200 chart.
SHINee Debuts at No. 7
SHINee has debuted on this week's Billboard World Albums chart with their new album "Don't Call Me.". The album also peaked at No. 14 on the Heatseekers Albums chart. "Don't Call Me" is SHINee's first release as a full group after almost three years.
