McDonald's Collaborates with BTS to Launch a 'BTS Meal'

McDonald's is collaborating with BTS to launch a "BTS Meal"!

On April 19, an unexpected collaboration had been announced. On their official Twitter account, McDonald's dropped a picture of BTS's logo in fries and announced that in collaboration with BTS, a "BTS Meal" will be launched sometime in May.

The popular fast food chain, who also changed their Twitter name by adding the exponent "7", which is reminiscent of BTS's "Map of the Soul: 7" album, also shared the list of countries in which the "BTS Meal" will be launched in.

The "BTS Meal" will be launched in almost fifty countries globally, starting with the United States and eleven other countries on May 26. The remaining countries included in the list will be able to experience the "BTS Meal" by the end of May until the end of June.

The "BTS Meal" will be launched in the following countries: the United States, Austria, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Israel, Malaysia, Paraguay, St. Maarten, Ukrain, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greence, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Oman, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Malta, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, India (Delhi), Mexico, Panama, UAE, Bahrain, Cyprus, Qatar, Hong Kong, Macau, India (Mumbai), Morocco, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Taiwan, Romania, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Suriname, Philippines and Indonesia.

The "BTS Meal" will include a 10-piece chicken McNuggets, a medium Coke, medium fries, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces which were inspired by the popular recipes from the McDonald's in South Korea.

According to Big Hit Music, BTS's agency, BTS had formed great memories with McDonald's and are excited to collaborate with the fast food chain and launch the meal to the world.

The fast food chain also released other celebrity meals that featured musicians J Balvin and Travis Scott, which had a successful launch and reception since the start of McDonald's celebrity meal promotions.

BTS to Make Comeback in May

In other news, BTS is set to make their comeback sometime in May.

There have been multiple reports that say BTS will be making their comeback in the last week of May, and others that say on May 21, Big Hit Music had released a statement stating that they would release BTS's plans once things and the schedule have been finalized.

Although the final date of the comeback is not yet confirmed, BTS will be releasing a new digital single.
