On April 24 at midnight KST, Han Jisung released a self-written track titled "Wish You Back."

"Wish You Back" is part of Stray Kids' SKZ-RECORD series in which members of the boy group - Bang Chan, Felix, Han, Changbin, I.N, Seungmin, Lee Know, and Hyunjin - drop unreleased songs or covers as their gifts for their fans, generally called STAY.

Stray Kids member Han took to Instagram to thank the fans for listening to his solo track. Along with photos, the idol wrote, "Haha, I feel a little embarrassed, but thank you for listening to it. I will work harder from now on, as well!"

Han penned the lyrics for "Wish You Back" and co-composed it with his fellow Stray Kids member Bang Chan, who made the arrangements of the track. Han took inspiration from the Japanese animated film "Your Name," while thinking what it would be like if the movie had a sad ending.

Prior to the release of "Wish You Back," Stray Kids Han already received praises from his bandmates, especially from Changbin during a V Live broadcast of "Chan's Room" earlier this month when they spoiled the song. Changbin mentioned it was his favorite track among all the songs by Han.

The Stray Kids member was, in fact, ecstatic upon hearing the news and took to Bubble to express his gratitude to the fans. He wrote that he is honored and thankful for STAYS for making him one successful stan.
