ENHYPEN has scored another major milestone as a rookie group with their comeback album "BORDER: CARNIVAL"! In particular, the new boy group has entered the Billboard 200 for the first time in six months since their debut.
Billboard 200 is a weekly chart the rankings the 200 most popular extended plays and albums in the United States. It is often used to convey the popularity of a soloist or group.
The chart is based mainly on sales (both retail and digital) of albums in the US.
ENHYPEN Becomes the First Rookie Group to Debut on Billboard 200
On May 24, Billboard announced via Twitter the debuts on the Billboard 200 chart for the week dated May 29. One of the albums is a release by a Korean rookie group, none other than ENHYPEN.

In particular, ENHYPEN's comeback album "BORDER: CARNIVAL" took the No. 18 spot on the Billboard 200. This marks the boy group's first appearance on the said chart after six months since their debut in November last year.
Among the rookie groups that debuted from January 2020 to the present day of 2021, ENHYPEN is the first and only one to enter the Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN now joins TXT, LOONA, and ITZY as the only K-pop group of the fourth generation to make it to the Billboard 200 chart. And among the albums of the fourth-generation idol groups, ENHYPEN's "BORDER: CARNIVAL" is the highest-ranking album on the Billboard chart.
In addition to this, ENHYPEN joins BTS, NCT, SUPERM, NCT 127, and MONSTA X as the only K-pop boy group to chart inside the top 20 of Billboard 200.

Furthermore, ENHYPEN's "BORDER: CARNIVAL" is the second-highest-ranking album by a K-pop group on Billboard 200 this year, following BTS's "BE" which took seventh place on the chart dated March 6.
Although BTS's "BE" was released last year, it is the highest-charting Korean album on the Billboard 200 this year, so far.
What's more, Billboard revealed that ENHYPEN's "BORDER CARNIVAL" is the No. 4 top-selling album this week.

ENHYPEN Joins TXT as the Only Fourth Generation Idol Group to Achieve This Milestone on Billboard World Albums Chart
Apart from Billboard 200, ENHYPEN also attained a major milestone on Billboard World Albums Chart. The rookie group's comeback album "BORDER: CARNIVAL" has re-entered the World Albums Chart, taking the No. 1 spot. This becomes the band's first No. 1 album on Billboard.

Because of this, ENHYPEN becomes the second K-pop group of the fourth generation to peak at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart after TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), who took the top spot two times with "The Dream Chapter: Star" and "minisode1: Blue Hour."
Since early this May, ENYHYPEN's "BORDER: CARNIVAL" and the songs from the album, including the title track "Drunk-Dazed," have been entering numerous Billboard charts, including Heatseekers Album, World Digital Song Sales, and Billboard Global Excl. US.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN has released the music video for "FEVER," one of the songs from their "BORDER: CARNIVAL."
