BLACKPINK Jisoo Selected as the Female Idol People Want to Share an Umbrella With
From May 26 to Jun. 2, Choeaedol conducted a poll titled "Which female idol do you want to share an umbrella with?" The poll amassed 50,097 participants. Taking the throne is none other than BLACKPINK's official visual, Jisoo!
Jisoo received 25,620 votes. This means that the "Snowdrop" lead actress received approximately 51.1% of the total vote count.

Jisoo is currently busy filming for the upcoming JTBC drama, "Snowdrop." Jisoo played the lead character, a female student (presently unnamed) attending a women's university.
Jisoo's character protects Im Soo Ho (played by Jung Hae In), a graduate student who seeks refuge after being bloodied in a pro-democracy protest.
The drama is set during the 1987 South Korean presidential election. It focuses on the military regime, Agency for National Security Planning, and the people in power who had conspired with North Korea to retain power.
Despite the political upheaval, Jisoo's character and Im Soo Ho develop a romantic relationship.
IU Ranked at Number Two in Choeaedol Poll "Which Female Idol Do You Want to Share an Umbrella With?"
Sitting at the second-place spot is none other than "The Nation's Little Sister," IU!
IU received 22,267 votes. This means that the "LILAC" singer amassed roughly 44.4% of the votes.
IU released her fifth Korean-language full-length album, "LILAC" (which is also the name of the album's title track) on Mar. 25. Upon its release, "LILAC" debuted at the top of the Gaon Weekly Album Chart, making it IU's fifth release to achieve this feat.
Additionally, all ten tracks off the album charted with the top 30 of the Gaon Digital Chart.

Notably, several of IU's older songs also re-entered the Digital chart following the release of "LILAC."
"LILAC" has been certified platinum by the KMCA for selling over 250,000 copies.
