The second Cosmic Girls' subunit, composed of members SeolA, EXY, Bona, and Eunseo, has received a lot of attention ever since WJSN The Black was first announced. They then made their debut with "My Attitude," led by the single "Easy." Their first single is a mature and mysterious dance track that offers a mix of soft and slow, with intense and a dangerous feel that describes temptation towards a loved one. Additionally, EXY participated in the composition of the track, giving it a distinct color only for WJSN The Black.
WJSN has been known for their fairy tale-like image as shown in their performance stages and music releases. However, they have tried new styles and aesthetics, giving rise to the unique appeal of WJSN The Black. The second subunit has crafted a mature and alluring image, and has been even called "The Boss Unit" by fans based on their strong appeal.
As for their fitting choreography for "Easy," the subunit has enlisted the help of world class choreographer Lia Kim. Added to the charms of its four members, WJSN The Black immediately captured the hearts of fans with their expression and gestures.
In the week of its release, WJSN The Black made various television appearances such as on KBS2 TV's "Music Bank," MBC's "Show! Music Core," and their first appearance on SBS' "Inkigayo" on May 16. They made another stage on "Inkigayo" on the 30th.
"New challenges always seem to be shaking," said WJSN The Black in a statement from Starship Entertainment. "However, we were able to end our debut happily because our fans loved us and cheered us on a lot. WJSN The Black activities have been completed, but we will return as individuals and as WJSN to work actively, so please look forward to our changes and growth in the future.
