The entertainment company continued that if fans checked their mailbox and submit an application, they will refund only those who wish to receive a refund. While the fans who do not want to apply for a refund can continue using their membership until the expiration date set at the time of purchase.
However, what caught the eye of fans from Source Music's announcement is how they will receive their refund. According to Source Music, for those who wish to get a refund, the label will return 110 percent of the prorated amount corresponding to the remaining validity period of their membership as cash that can be used in the Weverse Shop.
Upon learning that their refunds can only be used to purchase goods through Weverse Shop, GFRIEND's fandom, BUDDY, expressed their anger and dissatisfaction at the refund policy.
