NATURE's Haru Touches Fans' Hearts With a Warm Message to the LGBTQ Community

Back on June 7, KST, a fan, had shared a short clip of Haru, a Japanese member of the multinational girl group NATURE, who was interacting with fans on their social media account. In the 24-second video, Haru was giving a warm message to fans - collectively known as LEAF - especially to those who are a part of the LGBTQ community in celebration of Pride Month, which is celebrated every June.

Haru, although had difficulty speaking English, did her best to send her message in English so that fans all over the world can understand her. In the sweet message, Haru said, "I wanna say... I want LGBTQ people to be happy. I want to be in a world that is not discriminated [against the LGBTQ people]." She ends her message by saying not to be afraid to love and that you are beautiful.

Who is NATURE?

NATURE is a multinational girl group formed by n.CH Entertainment, headed by former SM Entertainment executive Jung Chang Hwan, in 2018. On August 3, 2018, the group made its debut with their first single album, "Girls and Flowers," with its lead single "Allegro Cantabile," a remake of the opening song of the Japanese drama "Nodame Cantabile."

The group originally had nine members: Yeolmae, Gaga, Saebom, Aurora, Lu, Chaebin, Haru, Uchae, and Sunshine. However, Yeolmae departed from the group before they made their debut. Loha joined the group on November 4, 2018, and on October 8, 2019, Sohee, who was a contestant on Mnet's "Produce 101" and a member of project girl groups I.B.I and C.I.V.A, joined the group. Gaga departed from the group the same time Sohee was announced as a member.
