NCT Dream Becomes Triple Million Seller with 'Hot Sauce' and 'Hello Future'

NCT Dream is officially a triple-million seller, thanks to their latest albums, "Hot Sauce" and "Hello Future"!

In the past months, NCT's sub-unit made two comebacks with two full-length albums, one is the main album, and the other is the repackaged version.

These two releases both sold more than a million copies in a short period, demonstrating the increasing popularity of NCT Dream globally.

NCT Dream Earns 'Triple Million Seller' Title with "Hot Sauce" and "Hello Future"

On July 8, SM Entertainment announced that NCT Dream has officially become a triple-million seller.

NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce," which was released on May 10, has sold 2.04 million copies as of May 25.

The boy group made headlines in late May after selling two million copies of "Hot Sauce" in only 16 days after the album's release.

Meanwhile, the group's repackaged album, "Hello Future," sold 1.19 million copies as of July 7, according to SM Entertainment.

NCT Dream's "Hello Future" was only dropped on June 28. This means the septet reached the million mark in just 10 days since the album's release.

In addition to this, the repackaged album swept the top spot on various weekly album charts like Gaon Chart and Hanteo Chart. It even dominated online stores like Synnara Records, Hot Tracks, Yes24, and Kyobo Bookstore.

With the total sales of "Hot Sauce" and "Hello Future" as of July, NCT Dream has changed their status from a double-million seller to being a triple-million seller.

This makes them the youngest group to achieve the triple-million seller status in the K-pop industry, with the eldest member, Mark, at 21 and the youngest member, Jisung, at 19.

It is noteworthy that NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" and "Hello Future" attained some of the highest album sales in the first half of 2021.

In the Top 10 list of highest sales of K-pop albums from January to June, "Hot Sauce" sits at No. 1, while "Hello Future" is at No. 6.

In celebration of NCT Dream's another remarkable achievement, fans are currently using the hashtag "#NCTDREAM_TripleMillionSeller" on Twitter. The hashtag is trending at No. 2 worldwide with 140,000 tweets as of press time.

The hashtag is also currently trending in the Top 5 trends of six different countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

In other news, NCT Dream's first full-length album has maintained its position on the Oricon Chart for the week of July 12.

Based on the latest Oricon Weekly Album Chart, "Hot Sauce" stayed strong at No. 8 with 9.143 estimated number of sales.

On the album chart dated July 5, NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" was also in eighth place with 13,649 sales.

The full-length album first debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's weekly album chart when it was released on May 25. It even ranked first on Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales chart, Line Music's Top 100 chart, Rakuten Music's weekly chart, and more, following its release.
