MAMAMOO Solar Workout Routine: Here's How She Gained Her Beautiful Abs

MAMAMOO's Solar has been making waves on various social media platforms for her fit and sexy figure. Most recently, she surprised hundreds of fans with her beautiful abs after appearing on the cover of Men's Health magazine alongside fitness trainer Yang Chi Seung.

Now, many are looking up to Solar for diet and fitness inspirations! So how did Solar get her rockin' abs? Here's what we know about Solar's workout routine.

MAMAMOO Solar Workout Routine Revealed

It's actually fairly easily finding out how Solar was able to get the physique she has today, as she often posts her diet and workout videos on her personal Youtube channel, Solarsido.

To prepare for her pictorial with Yang Chi Seung for the August cover of Men's Health Korea magazine, Solar worked on her body for two months to get it more defined and lessen her fat percentage. Although Solar didn't exactly say how much weight she lost or gained, she still showed amazing results!

For Solar's workout routine, she does a lot of weight and strength training, cardio, and stretching. Unfortunately, she didn't specify how many days a week or how long she does a certain workout, but it can be said that she works out almost everyday or alternate certain workouts.

Before she begins any workout, Solar does a good amount of stretching to loosen her muscles and increase her flexibility. Solar usually does HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts, such as burpees, squats, lunges, push-ups, and such - exercises that will help tone her body to get a more lean physique.

For her weight training, Solar usually chooses an area of her body to target, either her arms, legs, chest, back, and such. She also does weight lifting (barbells) - which targets her entire body. After her every workout, Solar also likes to work on her abs, like doing leg raises, crunches, and more.

When it comes to cardio, Solar would do the usual running, jogging, and walking. Also note that Solar is an idol, so her dance practices are included in her cardio workout! And since Solar is busy with the amount of activities and traveling she does, she leads a pretty active lifestyle.

Besides hitting the gym, Solar also practiced pole dancing - which is a good exercise for strength training and targets every part of your body, especially the arms!

Of course, along with workout out, Solar also accompanies it with a diet. In the past, Solar made headlines for her diet of only eating chicken breast and fruit, which allowed her to lose up to 2kg in just a few days. However, Solar now has a healthier diet, which features more variety of meat, vegetables, fruits, and healthy dairy - all consumed in moderation.
