'The Kelly Clarkson Show' Issues Apology After Showing a Different Group as BTS
Back on September 13 local time, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" opened its third season with their first episode, featuring British rock band, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin, as the episode's special guest. During the broadcast, Chris Martin talked about numerous topics on music, he also mentioned his collaboration with the global superstars, BTS.
Talking about BTS, Chris Martin shared on the show his experience working with the seven-member group for their upcoming single, "My Universe," which is a new song included in Coldplay's upcoming album, "Music of the Spheres."

As Chris Martin and the show's host, Kelly Clarkson, continued talking about BTS, the show went on to display a photo of the group.
However, instead of showing a photo of BTS, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" made a mistake of showing a photo of rookie group Blitzers, who recently made their debut back in May 2021.
Upon seeing the broadcast and the mistake, netizens took to their social media to express their disappointment and criticize the show, with many stating that simply typing "BTS" on Google search would give you numerous photos of the group.

The show was also criticized for their lack of professionalism and attention to detail, while some have also accused "The Kelly Clarkson Show" for racism and demanded the show to release an apology.
As the issue blew up, the show has since then released a simple apology for the mistake. On the show's official Twitter account, they said, "Thank you #BTSArmy. We're sorry, and we've provided our stations with the correct image."
'The Kelly Clarkson Show' Continues to Receive Criticism
However, although the show has rectified their mistake, they continue to be under heavy criticism as the new photo they have provided only had six of the BTS members, with Suga not included in the photo.
Many are now calling out the show for their disrespect to the group, and have also accused the show of making the mistake intentional.
Following their second round of criticism, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" has yet to address the issue.
