BTS Ranks No. 1 on 9 of Billboard's Year-End Charts for 2021 + Enters Other Charts

BTS topped nine of Billboard's year-end charts for 2021, including some of the main charts like Top Artists - Duo/Group.

On Dec. 2 (local time), Billboard issued their year-end charts for 2021 and several K-pop artists include BTS made it to different charts, nine of which were dominated by the boy group.

BTS Tops 9 of Billboard's Year-End Charts for 2021 + Lands on Other Charts

According to Billboard, BTS took first place on the Top Artists - Duo/Group, Hot 100 Artists - Duo/Group, World Albums Artists, Billboard 200 Artists - Duo/Group, Digital Song Sales Artists and Global Excl. U.S. Artists.

The Bangtan Boys even topped Billboard's Global Excl. US chart with their English hit "Dynamite" as well as the Digital Song Sales chart with "Butter." What's more, BTS claimed the No. 1 spot on the year-end chart of Billboard's World Albums for 2021 with their 2020 mini-album "BE."

Aside from topping nine charts, the septet also entered more lists focused on artists, including Hot 100 Artists.

BTS placed No. 12 on the overall Top Artists chart, placed No. 8 on the general Hot 100 Artists chart, placed No. 29 on the overall Billboard 200 Artists chart and placed No. 4 on the general Global 200 Artists chat.

Furthermore, the 2022 Grammy nominee landed on other Billboard year-end charts for 2021, with both their songs and albums released in the past years.

BTS has two entries on the Hot 100 Songs chart: "Dynamite" and "Butter." Last year, the band attained the highest peak among Korean acts in history on the chart with "Dynamite," which took No. 38.

This year, the band beat that record with "Butter," which secured No. 11. Meanwhile, "Dynamite" placed No. 41 this year.

While the Bangtan Boys topped the Billboard 200 Artists - Duo/Group, their 2020 albums "BE" and 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" debuted on the year-end chart of Billboard's 200 Albums for 2021 at No. 40 and No. 113 respectively.

Over on the Independent Albums chart, BTS' "BE" and "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" entered at No. 5 and No. 11 respectively. "BE" also made it to the Tastemakers Albums chart at No. 25.

On the Streaming Songs chart, BTS' "Butter" remix with Megan Thee Stallion came in at No. 65.
