BTS Had Two Best-Selling Albums by Any Group in the United States in 2021

As for BTS, the septet has two entries, particularly their albums released in 2020. It is impressive how these two albums remain popular in the U.S despite being released a year ago.

While BTS dropped a "Butter" CD single in 2021, it did not count as an album due to its short total playing time.

First, BTS' "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" sold 210,000 copies, becoming the No. 3 best-selling album by a group and the No. 8 best-selling work overall in 2021 in the U.S. At the time this album came out in 2020, it was declared the best-selling album in the United States. It sold a total of 646,000 copies.
