Yuehua Entertainment's New Boy Group TEMPEST Unveils Debut Date and Trailers for Two Members
On Jan. 19 at midnight KST, Yuehua Entertainment released two debut trailers for its upcoming boy group TEMPEST, which includes the former duo Euiwoong and Hyeongseop (from "Produce 101 Season 2") and Hanbin (from "I-LAND").
TEMPEST, which means a "violent storm," contains the meaning that the group will sweep the music industry with bright energy and powerful performances.
The debut trailers uploaded to YouTube feature one TEMPEST member each: Eunchan and Hwarang.
Aside from the clips, Yuehua Entertainment's new boy group has also shared a promotion schedule for their awaited debut.
Based on the schedule, TEMPEST will first reveal debut trailers and sketch films plus an album mood spoiler poster this January. They will then release concept photos, visual clips, music video teasers, and more in February.
All teasers will lead to TEMPEST's debut date, Feb. 21. On that day, the boy group will release their first album and the music video for the title track.
Previously, the new boy group raised anticipation for their debut with dance covers of NCT 127's "Kick It" and SEVENTEEN's "Hit." The videos currently have over 1.2 million views and 271,000 views respectively.
TEMPEST will be Yuehua Entertainment's new boy group in eight years since UNIQ was launched in 2014. The new act is made up of seven members and will be the agency's only active boy band.
The label is currently home to artists such as former IZ*ONE Choi Yena, WOODZ (of UNIQ), EVERGLOW and WJSN (co-managed with Starship Entertainment) alongside actor Lee Do Hyun.
