BTS Becomes the Korean Artist with the Most Songs Surpassing 300 Million Streams on Spotify
BTS is not new to setting historic records on Spotify. Every month, if not every day, the septet achieves new impressive milestones. And recently, another feat was added to their long list.
On Jan. 19, BTS' "ON" has exceeded 300 million streams on Spotify. It is the group's 12th song to reach the mark.
"ON" is the second track on BTS' "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" which was released in February 2020. This means the song took almost two years to reach the said number of streams.

With "ON" becoming the group's 12th song to reach the feat, BTS has become the first and only Korean artist in history to have a total of 12 songs with over 300 million streams on Spotify. Hence, this makes them the Korean act with the most number of songs to attain the feat.
The previous BTS songs to surpass 300 million streams on the global streaming platform are "Dynamite," "Boy With Luv," "Butter," "Fake Love" and "DNA" among others.
Among the 12 songs, "Dynamite" is the most-streamed BTS song on Spotify, with over 1.2 billion streams as of Jan. 20. It is the septet's first and only track so far to have a billion streams.

In addition to becoming the first and only Korean artist in history with 12 songs having more than 300 million streams on Spotify, BTS has also extended their record as the most-streamed group/Asian artist.
With the latest number of streams of BTS "ON," the group has exceeded 23.2 billion streams on Spotify across all credits (including collab tracks, remixes and members' solo songs). This 2022, more than 374 million streams have been accumulated to date.
Regarding their followers, BTS has gained over 947,000 new followers in just 18 days this year. The group now has a total of 44.4 million followers.

BTS Songs Enter the Daily Global Spotify Top 200 Chart for January 18
In related news, several BTS songs continue to chart on Spotify's Daily Global Top 200. Three tracks of the septet made the daily chart for Jan. 18.
BTS and Coldplay's "My Universe" ranked No. 15 with more than 2.24 million streams. It once again extended its record as the third-longest charting song by a Korean act inside the top 50 of the Spotify Daily Global Chart. As of Jan. 18, the track has spent 115 days on the tally.

The next BTS song on the global chart is "Dynamite" at No. 54 with over 1.3 million streams. It has extended its record as the longest-charting K-pop song inside the Top 200, spending 514 total days.
Finally, BTS' "Butter" placed No. 69 with over 1.18 million streams. It also extended its record as the fourth-longest-running K-pop song inside the Top 200, recording 238 total days.
