BTS V, ATEEZ San, BTOB Eunkwang Test COVID-19 Positive + Labels Share Artists' Health Status

BTS' V, ATEEZ's San, and BTOB's Eunkwang have tested positive for COVID-19 this week, with their respective labels sharing their health status.

BTS V, ATEEZ San, and BTOB Eunkwang Test Positive for COVID-19

Lately, there has been a growing number of K-Pop idols testing positive for COVID-19, with each week seeing several idols confirming positive for the virus.

Recently on February 15, BTS' V, ATEEZ's San, and BTOB's Eunkwang's respective labels announced that they had been diagnosed with COVID-19 on this day.

According to V's label, Big Hit Music, V visited the hospital in the afternoon after developing a sore throat and experiencing mild fever, where he took a PCR test and was confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.

V had also completed his two rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations back in 2021, and isn't presenting any other symptoms besides the sore throat and mild fever.

The BTS member is also currently undergoing self-treatment and is isolated at home. In addition, his fellow BTS members, who he met with back on February 12, aren't presenting any symptoms and had tested negative during preemptive tests.

ATEEZ's label, KQ Entertainment, announced that San tested positive for the virus and is asymptomatic. San had recently returned to South Korea from the United States on February 12, and had tested negative during the PCR test at the time.

During another test on February 14, San was tested positive and has since then been undergoing self-treatment at home.

Fellow ATEEZ members Yunho, Mingi, and Wooyoung, who San had returned with, tested negative and are currently under self-quarantine. All ATEEZ members have also completed their second doses of vaccine, with San not showing any symptoms.

BTOB Eunkwang's label Cube Entertainment said in a statement that Eunkwang had experienced a sore throat on February 14 and took a self-test kit which showed negative results.

However, as a precaution, he underwent a PCR test and was notified on February 15 that he is COVID-19 positive. The rest of the BTOB members will also undergo a PCR test as a precaution.

Like V and San, Eunkwang has also completed his two doses of vaccine, and will temporarily halt his activities to self-isolate.

BTS, ATEEZ, and BTOB's Latest Activities

Back on January 15, BTS dropped their new official webtoon, "7FATES: CHAKHO," and became the title with the highest views launched by Webtoon, with a novel version also having been released on Wattpad.

On January 31, ATEEZ released a promotional single in collaboration with Universe Music for their app Universe, called "Don't Stop." ATEEZ also recently performed and had an interview and audience Q&A at the GRAMMY Museum for Global Spin Live on February 8.

Meanwhile, BTOB is currently preparing to make their comeback as a full group with the release of their third studio album "Be Together" on February 21 KST.
