What is 'Selca Day'?
You might have heard your favorite K-Pop idols use the word "selca," or maybe from your Korean friend.
A selca is the South Korean version of the widely used term "selfie," and is a combination of English words that stands for "self camera."
Within the K-Pop community, however, there is this little tradition called "Selca Day" among fans. Selca Day can usually seen being done on Twitter, and it is where different K-Pop fandoms share a selca of themselves along with their favorite idol.

Each fandom has its own Selca Day, and is done on a certain day of the month, along with an accompanying hashtag, like "#ARMYSelcaDay," "#EXOLSelcaDay," "#CaratSelcaDay," and more.
Sometimes, fandoms also create a concept for their respective Selca Day to make it more fun and creative! Others like to share selcas of their favorite idols, along with a selca of them copying the idol's photo.
And the best part about it? Anyone can join!
