BELIFT LAB Slammed For Refusing to Apologize Following ENHYPEN Jake's Styling Issue

ENHYPEN Jake's fans a.k.a ENGENEs are still rallying behind their idol weeks after his poor styling controversy.

Read below to know what happened.

ENHYPEN Jake Faces Backlash

During ENHYPEN Jake's appearance on SBS "Inkigayo," eagle-eyed fans noticed that he wore an Allah necklace. Since he's not Muslim, some ENGENEs believe that the styling of his attire would've been offensive for those practicing Islam.

ENHYPEN Jake has not directly apologized for what happened, but ENGENEs already stopped pressuring him from addressing the matter publicly.

People realized that Jake's stylist and BELIFT LAB were the ones that should apologize. After all, ENHYPEN Jake just wears whatever he's asked to during his live and TV appearances.

ENHYPEN Jake's Fan Call Cut Short By BELIFT LAB

Weeks later, ENHYPEN Jake had a fan call with ENGENEs and everything seemed to be going well. But when one fan opened up about the Allah necklace controversy, her phone call was suddenly dropped.

In the background, ENGENEs heard a staff member saying that this was the only time they had left.

Before the call got cut, ENHYPEN Jake listened intently to what the Muslim fan was saying. In fact, he was very open to accepting the fans' comments.

But even before he could respond, the call was cut and this left ENGENEs even more upset. They also thought that BELIFT LAB was trying to censor the matter on top of their refusal to issue an apology.

Later that day, ENHYPEN Jake appeared in a live stream for ENGENEs. He was reading some of the comments from fans and they were obviously upset.

ENGENEs were still on a high from what BELIFT LAB did hours earlier that's why they expressed their thoughts and feelings via the live stream comments. And when ENHYPEN Jake read them, ENGENEs couldn't help but notice the sad look on his face.

As of writing, ENGENEs are still demanding an apology from BELIFT LAB, but it's unclear if their wish will ever be granted.

While waiting for the apology that they may or may not receive, ENHYPEN Jake posted a cryptic message for his fans.

The K-pop idol played the song "You Said" by Connor Price on Spotify. The lyrics of the song had to do with apologizing multiple times but still feeling that it wasn't enough.

Even if the track is technically a love song, ENGENEs believed that this was ENHYPEN Jake's way of talking to them.

However, it seems that they have already forgiven Jake for his honest mistake.
