The Sarah Jessica Parker shoes collection will now be available at Nordstrom's. Will Sarah Jessicas Parker's shoes line be any near as fabulous as Carrie Bradshaw's sexy heels?

Sarah Jessica Parker admitted that most of her shoes knowledge comes from the infamous Carrie Bradshaw. "I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes," she told Vogue. "And by default, I learned an enormous amount."

"In a silly way, I think it's what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw," The actress added. Sarah Jessica Parker will be teaming up with George Malkemus, CEO of Manolo Blahnik, for a line of shoes, bags and trench coats called SJP.

Named "SJP," the collection will range in price from $200 - $700 and is expect to hit shelves in 2014.

"For ten or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off," once to "The Edit." She adds"

"Then I did 'I Don't Know How She Does It,' and I was very thoughtful about my whole wardrobe and said, you know, [Kate Reddy] could not afford really good footwear. So I got [lower priced] shoes and the bottoms weren't leather, they were plastic, so I slipped a couple times, twisted my ankle.

I went to a foot doctor and he said, 'Your foot does things it shouldn't be able to do. That bone there... You've created that bone. It doesn't belong there.' The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost. It's sad, because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like, 'You know what, we are really tired, can you just stop - and don't put cheap shoes on us?'"

But she's still got all that footwear knowledge stowed away. "Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes," Parker tells Vogue.com about new venture, "and by default I learned an enormous amount. It's hard to walk away from that."

We're so glad she didn't. While there are no photos of the collection yet, we'll be keeping an eye out for pumps and flats bearing the "SJP" logo in the coming months.

In "Sex And The City" SJP, aka Carrie, wore the hottest heels on the planet. Let's see if the Sarah Jessica Praker shoes line can compare to the "Sex and The City" wardrobe. I can't see that ever happening!
