On March 21, the Mubeat fandom lab of the global K-pop platform Mubeat released their monthly "Artist Report" chart.
'HIT Artists of the Month': TREASURE, NMIXX Are Most Popular K-pop Artists in March 2022

Based on the results, "Monster Rookies" TREASURE and NMIXX were selected as "HIT artists in March." Both showed extraordinary popularity.
First of all, TREASURE who debuted in 2022 proved its skyrocketing fame in the music scene following its first comeback in about a year.
On February 15, the group dropped their first EP, "The Second Step: Chapter One." Upon its release, TREASURE broke its own best performance after it surpassed 700,000 album sales in three days.
More than a month since their comeback, the 12-member group also achieved 60 million views for the EP's title track, "JIKJIN" music video.
On top of that, TREASURE marked its influence in international charts by entering Billboard Global 200 chart through "DARARI."
For the female category, NMIXX was crowned as "HIT Artist" in March 2022, a month after their debut.
The growth of the "monster rookie" is truly remarkable. Aside from gaining attention for their outstanding visuals and solid skills, NMIXX also gained the nickname, " Best Rookie of All Time" for their new feats.
In particular, their debut song "(O.O)" MV has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube. Additionally, it ranks at the top of various music charts.
The septet also sets a new record for the girl group's debut album's initial sales after selling 227, 399 copies of their debut EP, "AD MARE" on the first week of its release.
NCT Taeil, VIVIZ Named 'Rising Artists' in March 2022
On the other hand, NCT Taeil, who drew attention for participating in the OST of the popular drama "Twenty-five, Twenty-one" was crowned "Rising Artist" of the month.
His solo track, "Starlight" was released on February 13 as a soundtrack for the drama. As soon as it was released on various music streaming sites, Taeil proved his status as one of the top K-pop singers. He debuted in Billboard K-pop 100 at No. 79 as a soloist.
Last but not least, VIVIZ, which consists of former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji secured their title as "Rising Artists" for March in the female category.
Since their launch, the trio topped the music program at the same time as their re-debut. Based on their skills and experience accumulated so far, it shows the potential of the representative K-pop artist. They are expected to gain more popularity in the future.
On the other hand, the "Artist Report" of the Mubeat Fandom Lab is an artist report published monthly based on performance data in the music video compiled for a month. It consists of the "HIT of the Month" category. It selects the artist with the best performance every month, and the "Rising Artist" category, which showed remarkable results for that month.
