Brian Williams of Rock Center and Nightly News ended up at the Jimmy Fallon Show Thursday night rapping Snoop Dogg’s’ “Nuthin’ But A G Thang.”

It’s the must-see unintentional rap video of the week that gone viral.

“We bet you never thought you’d see a NBC News host rapping to the tunes of Snoop and Dr. Dre,” says Perez Hilton.

The edit cleverly made the veteran news anchor slow jam the famous rap lyrics.

Brian Willy from NBC News stopped by to chat with Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Thursday night and was there to witness as Jimmy aired what Perez called, a “IGHlarious mash-up that makes Brian look and sound like a hardcore gangsta!”

At the time of this writing, the video has been viewed more than 828,510 times.

All week long on “Late Night,” host Jimmy Fallon has been taking individual words from William’ news broadcasts and splicing them together to match the lyrics to the gangster rap classics, reports Dave Nemetz of Yahoo! TV.

The video, says Nemetz, will get your heads nodding. Although the writer says there are still plenty of hip-hop icons left for the journalist to cover.

This would include Public Enemy, N.W.A., and Ice Cube.

The immediate outcry as a follow-up for the video is for Brian Williams to stop by “Late Night” and do a live performance of one of the rap tracks.

“The sight of him actually rapping wearing a throwback Bo Jackson L.A. Raiders jersey would probably makes our head explode,” writes Nemetz.

Of course, he added, “In the best possible way.”
