‘Man Of Steel’ Review: Jimmy Fallon Calls Superman Film ‘Visually Insane,’ Star Henry Cavill Talks About Tornado In Final Trailer [VIDEO]

The first Superman "Man of Steel" review has been revealed, and it was made by none other than soon-to-be "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon.

On Thursday's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," Christopher Meloni, who plays Colonel Nathan Hardy in "Man of Steel," was a guest. Fallon talked with Meloni about what he thought of the Superman film.

"Christopher Meloni, I've got to tell you, I saw 'Man of Steel,' blown away. This guy, (director) Zach Snyder, this movie's insane. Visually it's insane. I don't know how you did this. I don't know how you pulled it off," Fallon said.

Meloni responded, "I don't know how they did it either, except to say, I've got to tell you, you've got to see this movie. This is how you'll watch this movie." Meloni turned toward the audience with eyes wide open and a gaping mouth, according to ComicBook.com. "You won't believe it. It's a new generation of how to make an action film."

Fallon continued to gush about Superman, played by Henry Cavill in the film, and "Man of Steel."

"It's insane, and also it's Superman. So you go like, 'How are you going to reinvent this thing?' We all know Superman. And they did it. I've got to say it's fantastic. I'm so happy for you. Have you heard that the tickets already are outselling...it doesn't come out for two weeks right...and the tickets are already outselling what's coming out this week."

Part of the hype surrounding "Man of Steel" may have come from the final trailer for the Superman film, released on June 6.

In the film, Superman faces off against enemies from his home planet, Krypton. But, Henry Cavill's Superman is also forced to face off against a more familiar enemy: a tornado.

The tornado appears in the latest trailer for "Man of Steel," and its destruction hit a bit too close to home for some who had been affected by the recent tornado tragedy in Oklahoma.

But director Zack Snyder never considered changing the important scene in the film, even after Oklahoma's devastating storms.

"He's changed by those events," Snyder said of Superman in a recent promotional interview, according to the Associated Press. "If anything, we feel like our Superman has a connection - not to make light of it - to the kind of grief that happens during those kinds of natural disasters. Also, in a sad way, even Superman can't change that."

An EF5 tornado hit Moore, Oklahoma on May 20, killing 24 people. Another tornado struck last Friday, resulting in even more deaths.

"It's a terrible tragedy, mother nature doing its thing," Henry Cavill said. "I hope that everyone who can salvage things can salvage things, grieve if they need to grieve, move on from stuff and repair and build, if they have the opportunity. I can't even imagine what it's like."

"Man of Steel" is scheduled to release nationwide on June 14.
