Katherine Webb made her first public appearance in a while on Friday at the Regions Tradition golf tournament in Birmingham, Alabama. She was spotted wearing a big, sparkling ring on her ring finger, sparking speculation that she and boyfriend Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron are engaged.

Webb, who is a model, reality TV actress, and Miss Alabama, quickly spoke out against the rumors, telling The Associated Press that she is still dating AJ McCarron, but they are not engaged.

"We're doing great," she said, The Huffington Post reports.

But when asked about a possible engagement, Webb said, "No, I promise you, you guys will know when that time comes."

Webb attended the golf tournament to pose for photos with fans to raise donations for Children's of Alabama, a hospital in Birmingham, according to The Huffington Post.

According to Fox Sports, the 24-year-old Webb gained fame during the BCS title game in January. She was watching her boyfriend AJ McCarron lead Alabama over Notre Dame. Cameras zoomed in on her and announcer Brent Musburger commented on her appearance. Webb soon gained national media attention, and Musburger's comments when viral.

Webb has also made appearances on TV, including the ABC reality show ''Splash," which she recently quit to make time for her charity work.
