BIGBANG's "Still Life" Scores Real-Time All-Kills, Roof Hits on Korean Music Charts
On April 5 at midnight KST, BIGBANG finally returned to the music scene after four years with their new song "Still Life." Members G-Dragon and T.O.P participated in composing and writing the lyrics for the track.
"Still Life" quickly debuted on Korean music charts as soon as it was released on various music streaming platforms. It proved the boy group's never-ending popularity in their home country.

One of the song's latest achievements is that it broke the record for the highest number of unique listeners on MelOn in the first 24 hours since the chart's reform.
BIGBANG's "Still Life" gained 909,666 unique listeners. It dethroned IU's "Strawberry Moon," which only had 713,054 unique listeners.
The song was unable to achieve any real-time all-kills at the time it was released as Korean music charts were frozen at midnight. However, as soon as the charts unfroze after 12 hours, it immediately took the top spots on MelOn, Bugs, Genie, and FLO.

In particular, BIGBANG's "Still Life" attained its first real-time all-kill at 1 p.m. KST on April 5. The song went on to score more RAKs in the following hours.
As of 11 a.m. KST on April 6, "Still Life" has recorded a total of 23 real-time all-kills. It is expected to reach more RAKs in the next hours.
Apart from this, the track is also steadily obtaining roof hits on both MelOn and Genie. It scored its first roof hits on MelOn and Genie after 13 hours and 14 hours of its release, respectively.
BIGBANG's "Still Life" has achieved 16 roof hits on MelOn as of 10 a.m. KST, while it reached 19 roof hits on Genie as of 11 a.m. KST.

For starters, a roof hit means that the number of people streaming and downloading the song has reached the maximum score on MelOn and Genie's graph. One roof hit means a track remained in its maximum score every five minutes for one hour.

BIGBANG's Past Songs Re-Enter Korean Music Charts Following "Still Life" Release
While BIGBANG's "Still Life is ruling various Korean music charts, the boy group's previous songs are also returning to the spotlight.
As of 10:44 p.m. KST on April 5, "Flower Road" re-entered MelOn Top 100 at No. 99. This is the first time that the song landed on the chart since its release in 2018. Several BIGBANG songs also dominated MelOn's search rankings as of 1 a.m. KST on April 5. Some of them are "Still Life," "Flower Road," "BLUE," "LIES," "Haru Haru," "BANG BANG BANG," and "LOVE SONG."
Moreover, five past songs of the boy group debuted again on Bugs at approximately 1:20 p.m. KST on April: "Flower Road" at No. 29, "Blue" at No. 68, "Sunset Glow" at No. 81, "IF YOU" at No. 88, and "LOSER" at No. 93.
With their previous tracks making their way back to Korean music charts, this only shows how much their Korean fans missed BIGBANG.
