The attempted suicide of Paris Jackson most likely stemmed from Paris's identity crisis. The identity crisis was caused by Michael Jackson separating Paris from society for so long, her issues with family, and her confusing race identity. The suicide is not a surprise when looking at the identity crisis that Paris Jackson must be struggling with.

Michael Jackson didn't understand the long-term damage that would be done by isolating his children from much of the world and their mother. Throwing Paris immediately into the world after her father's death definitely lead to her suicide.

Michael didn't realize the identity crisis Paris would struggle with from his fractured relationship with his own family.

Friends close to the Jackson family said that Michael's grave miscalculations where his children were concerned were the real culprit behind the recent suicide attempt of his only daughter, Paris.

They added that while Jackson was genuine in only wanting the best for his children, he failed to factor in the realities of the real world they'd have to face one way or another. Paris Jackson reportedly took 20 Motrin pills and used a meat cleaver to cut her arms.

"Paris is really just this lonely young girl who literally has no idea where she belongs," said a close Jackson family friend. "As a young child, her world only really included her father, two brothers, and household staff.  She'd been home schooled so she had no idea how even make friends when her father died. Think of how difficult that is to learn as a teenager girl in today's world."

When father Michael Jackson died, the changes the childrens' lives were fast and turned theire lives around In a matter of just two months, they would go from being home schooled to being enrolled into one of California's most elite private schools. In an era where "mean girls" rule the hallways, Paris found fitting in particularly difficult.

Questions about her racial identity were only one factor in Paris' mental breakdown, said those close to the situation. Friends said the Jackson family's constant inner turmoil, which goes back years before Jackson died, also played a defining role in the teenager's fragile mindset.

Jackson relayed those negative feelings to his children, which is why Paris finds it so hard to tolerate Michael's siblings and parents. After Michael dies, these people become a major part of the kid's life, which cannot be easy.

Paris has constantly slammed her aunts and uncles in the media and has publicly stated that she only trusts her grandmother, Michael's mother.

Paris Jackson has had more to deal with in her 15 years than most teenagers. The death of her father must have taken a toll on the fragile girl whom displayed devastation in front of the world at Michael Jackson's funeral.

Paris Jackson fortunately does seem to have a strong bond with her two brothers, Blanket and Prince, however they clash on their views on mother Debbie Rowe.

The clash has confused Paris about her relationship with her mother, Debbie Rowe. Prince still holds a great deal of anger towards Rowe and is saddened to hear of his sister's newly kindled relationship with their mother.

In recent weeks, Rowe has spent an increasing amount of time with Paris Jackson - watching her perform in her school play, taking her out to lunch, and hosting her at her Palmdale ranch. Once alienated from her former in-laws, Rowe has the blessing of Paris's grandmother and legal co-guardian, Katherine Jackson, who sees her as a good influence.

"Paris has been going through a lot of teenage angst and feels a little bit unloved," says a source. "So about three months ago Paris reached out to her mother and told her she wanted to establish a relationship with her. Debbie was open to it, and Katherine Jackson is supportive of the developing relationship."

Since then, Paris has spent two weekends with Rowe in Palmdale, helping her with her horses. "She's enjoyed telling friends in L.A. how she's helping take care of a pregnant mare on the ranch, and even how she was recently chased by a chicken."

In recent times the source says that Paris and Prince are not as close as they used to be, partly because of Paris's relationship with her mother.

She is a young girl who lost the only parent she knew at the age of 12 and then had every aspect of her life put on public dismay.

A probate court judge has ordered an investigation into the "health, education and welfare" of Paris Jackson following her suicide attempt. The court investigation will recommend any changes necessary for Paris Jackson's welfare.

"There have been communications between the court and counsel and we're completely supportive of the court's actions," Katherine Jackson's attorney, Perry Sanders Jr. said about the court investigation. Katherine Jackson only cares about Paris's welfare right now.

He has said 15-year-old Paris Jackson is doing ok and is physically fine, receiving appropriate medical treatment after attempting suicide.

Paris Jackson has been hospitalized following an attempted suicide this week. Paris was rushed to the hospital from her Calabasas, Calif., family home early Wednesday morning after she attempted to commit suicide.

Although sources say Paris is hospitalized and "doing ok" the 15-year-old is clearly NOT ok. Any attempted suicide is a cry for help and the teenage needs guidance desperately. The mandatory court investigation should help with Paris's serious issues.
