BTS Jungkook has been creating history, setting and breaking countless global records, since his song "Stay Alive" was released on Feb. 11 this year.

As many fans know, "Stay Alive" serves as the original soundtrack for BTS's webtoon and web novel "7 Fates: CHAKHO." The song was produced by Suga, another BTS member.

Recently, "Stay Alive" has added a new historic feat to its long list of achievements.

In particular, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST has sold more than 100,000 units in the U.S. as of May 2. It achieved the mark in only 80 days since it arrived - breaking the record for fastest Korean OST by a soloist in history to surpass 100,000 sales in the country.

BTS Jungkook's "Stay Alive" has surpassed "Christmas Tree" by V (of BTS), which obtained the milestone 131 days after its release.

This a remarkable feat for a Korean OST that has no official promotions, making the milestone more meaningful.

At the time the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST was released, it impressively stayed atop the iTunes Song Chart in the U.S. for seven days in a row, proving its hot popularity in the country. It even became the first Korean OST and first Korean idol song to ever top the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart for five consecutive days.

With this new achievement, Jungkook now holds the records for both the fastest OST and fastest solo song to sell 100,000 units in the United States.

Back in 2020, his solo song "My Time" from the BTS album "BE" became the fastest song by a Korean soloist overall to attain the feat, doing so only within 57 days of its release.

Apart from setting a new record for the fastest Korean OST by a soloist, BTS Jungkook's "Stay Alive" has also reached another No. 1 on iTunes.

On May 4, the "7 Fates: CHAKHO" OST hit the top spot on iTunes Song Chart in Venezuela. This means the song has now achieved a total of 108 No. 1s on iTunes.

It has been two months since the webtoon OST came out yet it still managed to reach another No. 1 on iTunes. This goes to show that the song is belatedly gaining popularity in Venezuela.

Congratulations to BTS Jungkook on his new milestone in the United States with "Stay Alive"!
