Rihanna and Chris Brown may be broken up, but the former star couple can't seem to escape the rumor mills, the latest being that Chris Brown was the one who alleged dumped the Barbadian singer, and not the other way around.

According to Entertainmentwise.com, the 24-year-old R&B singer chose current girlfriend Karrueche Tran to avoid incessant drama with RiRi.

"Karrueche isn't all hype and crazy like [Rihanna] and that's probably why Chris chose her in the end. She's drama free and real and she's a good girl," said an insider to HollywoodLife.

"She loves him and she was even cool with him being with Rihanna while they just kept their relationship on a business level. She was fine with that but in the end, Chris came back to her. She didn't force a thing."

And while Brown has moved in with Tran, Rihanna is busy globetrotting for her Diamonds world tour. And the love triangle may have settled down into the current configuration, at least for now.

This is a different tune than what was reported earlier that Rihanna dumped Brown due to his "mind games."

"[Rihanna] is tired of the games he's playing and she's getting too old to let a [man mess] with her mind. She doesn't have time for that!" stated a source.

"She's tired of this back and forth s**t. [Rihanna] wants someone that's going to be down for her and respect her. She just needs to be about her tour and not worry about that fool. She'll be alright. She's the most eligible b***h in town."

Still, whatever happened between the pair seems to have nothing to do with Tran, who was allegedly the innocent bystander the entire time.

"Whatever happened know that Karrueche did not play a part in that. Her intention was never to break up Chris and [Rihanna] no matter how much she liked Chris," continued the source.

Rihanna and Chris Brown may no longer speak to each other, but the pair still remains on top of their musical game with simultaneous releases of remixes.
