LE SSERAFIM Yunjin Shares What She Went Through After Participating in 'Produce 48'
On May 14, Weverse Magazine revealed their interview with LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yunjin, who is well-known as a former trainee at Pledis Entertainment.
One of the questions Weverse Magazine asked was about her trainee life. The question went, "What was it like being a trainee where you constantly have to battle yourself? You came all the way to Korea on your own to become an idol."
LE SSERAFIM Yunjin said, "Actually, I don't remember much about when I first got to Korea. It was hectic and there were so many things I had to do, and I was feverishly passionate."

In 2018, Huh Yunjin appeared on Mnet's girl group survival show "Produce 48" as one of the contestants and one of the representatives of Pledis Entertainment along with After School member Lee Gaeun.
However, Yunjin only made it until episode 11 of the reality program as she was eliminated after ranking 26th. She then returned to being a trainee after that.
For starters, "Produce 48" was the program that formed the 12-member project girl group IZ*ONE, which included Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon who are both Yunjin's current bandmates.
During the interview, the rookie idol shared what she went through following her elimination from the survival show.

LE SSERAFIM Yunjin said, "After the show (Mnet's "Produce 48") ended, and I went back to the tranquil trainee life, I felt sort of lonely. I sometimes felt like I couldn't convey my feelings properly no matter what I said because my family is all in the U.S. now, and I grew up speaking English."
She continued that she wanted to express herself properly, but her Korean's not that good at that time. "Plus, there was no one around me who could speak English, so my English kept getting weirder," she added.

Eventually, Yunjin's hard work paid off as she is now part of LE SSERAFIM, which has the potential to become one of the top girl groups in the K-pop industry and probably in the world.
