Korean Media Outlet Allegedly 'Sexualizes' TWICE Momo in Recent Article
Media outlets use headlines as a way to grab attention and increase view count. While some articles are more on clickbait, there are those who end up writing controversial headlines.
In particular, one Korean media outlet is recently drawing flak and angering fans for allegedly sexualizing TWICE member Momo.
Back on May 15, media outlet SpoTV News released a new article with the title, "'Shockingly revealing' Momo, the angle is dangerously close... The active girl group idol's bold exposure."
In this article, it shared recent photos posted on the group's official social media of the TWICE member at the airport, as Momo departs to Los Angeles from the Incheon International Airport back on May 12 for TWICE's fourth world tour "III."
The article also showcased Momo's airport outfit, which consists of a sleeveless green mini-dress, a black cardigan, and a black sling bag.
While the article itself praised Momo for her outfit, the article's sensationalizing headline made numerous netizens express their disappointment.
A screenshot of the article, with its title and content, were shared on online community forums, such as The Qoo.
